Date: 2009-05-04 10:50 pm (UTC)Blue Seed is also entertaining in it's way. The first half of the series is pretty repetitive, but the second half escalates and escalates in some very cool ways, culminating in an intense finale. Not anywhere near Trigun intense, but still quite rockin'.

Date: 2009-05-04 10:58 pm (UTC)And yay! I know so very few Blue Seed fans. The animation wasn't that stellar, and the music score is laughable by today's standards I guess...but I really liked the storyline, and I agree, the intense finale.

Date: 2009-05-04 11:03 pm (UTC)Yes. It sucked me in because it was like the show said, "Here, we'll give you this really fun and likable character, and then you can watch as we DESTROY HIM. And maybe build him back up again at the end. MAYBE."
Since I adore humor mixed with angst and character-analysis, it was Rashaka/Trigun OTP forever.
