Ah, very cool -- I actually used to do science and technology reporting, and am actually a little familiar with what you do. And I'm in a hotbed of biotech, too -- San Diego.

Reporting, eh? For a newspaper or an online journal or something? Do you still do reporting?

And yeah, SD is the second-best hotbed for biotech. John and I have already agreed that if the climate in SF isn't good in the future, we'll try our luck down there. ^^ Real estate is a bit cheaper, too.
