Ooohhhh my fucking god. We did it! Go S.F.!!! Now gay couples will have the opportunity to be just as miserable as the rest of us. XD (j/k.)

There's a threat by religious groups of putting a motion on the November ballot to constitutionally ban it, but I'm hoping that will get shot down. It's about time this happened.

See, I don't get the anti-gay marriage people. I'm straight therefore unlikely to marry someone of my own sex. I fail to see how a lesbian couple getting the right to marry is going to impact my life. If it's going to impact yours then maybe you should reevaluate your sexuality or who you're dating. (I mean general you of course)

Anyways, good on you California. If only the rest of the nation will follow this course.

I think in general, people are afraid of what they don't understand. Or what they don't want to understand.

Hey, gay people need to be allowed to be married and divorced and sued for the children's custody! XD

I know - isn't it awesome?!? I get breaking news alerts for work and I literally jumped out of my seat and ran over to my co-worker's cubicle clapping like an excited three-year-old! Of course, he's already printed out the article and had proudly displayed it outside his cube. :D

And word 'round the campfire is that the religious conservatives (many who are based out of my hometown of San Diego) have gathered enough signatures to place it back on the ballot this November...I can only hope that either A)They didn't get enough valid signatures or B)Californians get their shit together and vote. it. down!

Good for you Cali! I doubt that will ever go through in Missouri, but at least there's a precedent now. I still don't understand the opposition to it. Legal marriage is different than a religious marriage. Separation of Church and State for all, says I and the Constituion or something.

Misora, it's been ages, and we've had porn posted to zutarotica, but the community is lonely without you. It needs your special sequel-to-Absolution touch!

So here's me cheering you on, and wishing you well, and maybe just slightly begging for you to finish your fic. But mostly cheering. Woot!

Hey there,

Wow, thank you so much for the note! ^____^ I feel loved. <3

I was actually out of town all weekend in Monterey with the b/f (pics forthcoming), but I'm hoping to get some writing done tonight before I sleep. I was going to work on Lotus, but I think I'll save that for a couple more days and try to finish the pr0n I was writing before. *grins* Thanks to you!

I appreciate the encouragement, wholeheartedly! I don't get much of it in the fandom these days (my own fault for not being more prolific), and when I do, it's like, wow. They still wanna hear from me!! ^____^ Makes me feel all warm and gooey.

Hokay. Writing nao.

:big grin:

I'm such a huge obsessive fic stalker, you have no idea. If I didn't think it'd scare people, and if ffnet didn't have that stupid reveiw-per-chapter limit, I'd be harassing the authors of all my favorite fics at least three times a week.

I actually wasn't sure if I should bug you about it, because you were probably busy and I had asked you a few weeks ago. I don't want to be one of those entitlement-crazy "You OWE us more chapters" kind of readers (I've experienced my fill of those) but I also want to encourage, because I know that sometimes you just don't get inspired, or you don't think about it for two weeks, until someone reminds you. And then because they did, you also remember why you enjoyed writing it.

Good luck with the writing!

::feeling slightly awkward doing this:: I don't usually post to one of my favorite author's personal anything concerning fic, my position is usually to let them post in their own time.
But on that note, Misora, speaking as as avid fan of The Burning Time(one of the best fics EVER, in my personal opinion), I just want to know if the inspiration for Hieros Gamos has run out or something. I completely understand if real life is getting in the way, or if the sexyness of Zutara has taken over your muses(because, really, how could it NOT?), however, I (to quote you) wanna hear more from you on the WHR front.:D Honestly, TBT got me to seriously read fic again when I thought that all of the good writers had left the affectionately named "cheese gutter" of ff.net. Hieros Gamos has the potential to surpass that level of awesome, and I couldn't bear to see it wither away.
I don't expect that this one opinion is going to magically produce a flood of plotbunnies, or that I'll induce a fit of inspriation or anything, I just want you to know that there are also fans of your older works patiently waiting on our next installment of jaw-dropping, spine-tingling, and thought-spawning loveliness that the award winning author of TBT churns out.
Because I know the wait is always worth it.
Thank you.
