The war was over, but Zuko was left with one more battle to confront. He stood facing his former lover -- his first lover -- with Katara's hand clasped firmly in his own.

"I'm sorry, Mai."

Mai looked at him for a moment. Then she swept a long, considering look over the water-bender at his side.

"You know," she said, sounding as bored as ever, "I really don't mind."

He wondered if she meant what he thought she meant. She must have read the surprise on his face, because she cocked one elegantly arched eyebrow.

"Agni, Zuko. What did you think Ty Lee and I did at those 'slumber parties'?"

Ahem.

lol, I don't think I could every seriously do it. Jet/Katara/Zuko? Dude, that would be, like, the threesome of HATE. Katara hates Jet and Zuko, Jet hates Zuko, Zuko kind of hates everyone at times...

Are we sure that he's dead? I thought it was left kind of open-ended. Then again, it is a kids' show, so I shouldn't be surprised that they didn't show him all corpsified.
