OH HAI THUR.



I'm at 29 weeks, and getting huge. HUGE. Some days it's better/easier than others, but some days just walking around becomes an olympic event. I can't imagine how much bigger I'm going to get in the next 9-10 weeks.

Also, I have lots of emotional ups and downs lately. Crying jags abound. I find myself more and more impatient with everyone and everything. Ugh, hormones.

On the upside, have a new bunny pic from a few weeks ago! :D




He is getting so huge too, omg. His head is ginormous.

To all of you who are patiently waiting for more writing to get done...I want to tell you it'll be soon, but I can't say for sure. I'm juggling too many projects right now, and the next several weekends are going to be *super* busy - next weekend is a romantic getaway to Mendocino, weekend after that is a friend's baby shower, weekend after that is in Carmel with Aunt & Uncle, weekend after *that* is *my* baby shower...so it's going to be hectic.

March should be a bit calmer...and hopefully by then I'll not only have some writing done, but also some ATLA jewelry projects. I have some new stones that I am SO excited about. Such as this...

So much to do. So little time. eeek.

What a cute little bebbeh you've got there! Sounds like you're right on track, and goodness those ten weeks are going to feel like they're taking forever. I used to get nervous around this time in my pregnancy because I was terrified of letting him out into the world where he could get hurt! At the same time I couldn't wait for him to be born so I could have my body back (at least a little).

Enjoy your peace and quiet as much as you can, and keep updating as you can. :D

I know; it's like the first trimester went very slowly (worrying each week), the 2nd one flew by, and now that we're in the home stretch it seems like the 3rd is going to go slowly again. The good thing is I'll be really busy, so maybe it'll keep my mind off waiting.

I'm torn, too. On one hand I feel like he's safe in here. On the other hand, I can't wait to sleep comfortably again...and run...and drink wine!!

I'm glad to hear that everything is going relatively smooth. *cursed hormones* No worries about writing. If you get to it, great, otherwise we all understand why not. :D

Holy cow. That's a big boy already! Very long. Maybe he'll be tall? Are you getting nervous about D-Day or more excited anticipation? Personally I loved being pregnant.

Have you invested in a body pillow or one of those U-shaped ones for night time? I couldn't live without mine. Takes all the pressure off your hips and back.

Thanks! They are pretty amazing...I almost like sitting here looking at them more than actually doing something with them! lol...

He is very long. I have height running in my family, even though I myself am only 5'5"; my younger brother is 6'2", my uncle and male cousins are all over 6', and my dad is short compared to them (5'10"). John's dad is 6' tall as well. I think Devin will be taller than his own dad. XD

I'm not necessarily nervous about delivery...I realize there's going to be pain either way (c-section or natural), so I'm kind of mentally prepared for it. I'm more nervous about actually taking care of baby once he's here. I hope I don't screw up! ^^;; I'm going to have a lot of help, though, so I'm sure things will turn out okay. Doesn't mean I'm not going to worry, though.

And I do have a preggo pillow - C-shaped - that I sleep with every night. I find I really can't get comfortable without it.

No, so far my doctor isn't too worried about how big he is...it's more a concern for a c-section given a) my uterus, b) my fibroids (one is blocking the entrance to the cervix), and c) the baby's position. He's been breech the entire time. We'll see if he moves, but regardless I'm preparing myself for the c-section.

Glasswork is so pretty! I wish I could make it myself, but alas, you need a kiln for that...

Your baby is going to be huge when he gets here if he's already two pounds. Wow. Also, while I may not want a baby of my own, I actually find fetal development incredibly fascinating. Go figure. ^^

OMG, that blue quartz is gorgeous. I love it.

And on the writing front, if it makes you feel any better, I haven't written a thing this entire month. So much for my resolution of doing 250K this year. Oh, well. I've really got to buckle down and motivate myself, lol.

Well actually, for the gestational age he is, he's measuring right about where he should be. Hopefully he won't be too big - but I do have the feeling he'll be long (tall).

I feel really bad that I haven't written much!! There's so many things I want to do, and so few hours in the day to do them...

Baby peanut! He looks so healthy, it's great to see he's getting nice and big :D For some it feels like the last weeks blow right by, and for others they seem to drag on forever. Whichever way it feels to you, I hope they go really well.
