Sorry I didn't make an announcement right away...the last two nights have been pretty busy contacting everyone we know! ;)

He's healthy and looks perfect. More than we could ever ask for. :D

Thanks!! I'm glad you like the name we chose! ;) John still thinks we could consider others, but I personally think this is the best choice.

Oh, and I didn't mean to say I hope he only looks like John....it's just that I think John is a cute guy. ^___^ Therefore our son would be cute. But I'm sure he'll have an equal amount of both Baba and Mama!

And you know, I would have loved to post a pic of the u/s that we had on Wednesday....but Boy Bunny was turned around with his back toward us, and while we got great shots of the back of his head, brain and spinal chord, we couldn't get any clear picture shots of his face or the front of him! The tech managed to jiggle him around and look underneath to see his little dangly part that way, but it was kind of disappointing overall. It almost looked like he was hiding from the sonogram! ^^;

We're having a follow-up one about two weeks from now, which will be the 3-D u/s (apparently 17 weeks is too early for that, I was informed), so I will definitely post those pictures then!

If you guys are curious though, I can show the pics of his back? XDDD

You know once you've picked a name it's pretty much a done deal. After we knew things were a go, we couldn't even think of any girl's names. Michael was it for us, so he would have been screwed if he had been a girl. Granted we had joked about Theodore Edward... as in Ted E. Bare... the poor child would have had a rough life.


*facepalm* My brain lapsed and I forgot what Baba meant (even though you clearly translated). I was thinking grandpa. totally different word, I know. @@

that's funny that he was camera shy. I'd still love to see them if you would like to post pics. I'm such a sucker for things like that.

If you'd still like to see the latest u/s pics, I'll have to upload them and post them here. Like I said, most of them are of his back. ^__^ Not too exciting. But he has a really pretty spine! LOL
