~ A Zuko/Katara musical tribute for the last half of Season 3, and beyond.

[Zuko, as he's leaving his homeland, is starting to realize that being a Prince is about more than just fruit tarts and palanquin rides.]

Collecting and discovering
It's not enough.
And no matter how you try,

[But the roiling and spinning of her water means Katara won't forgive his trespasses so easily.]

Made my own pretty hate machine
3. Sneaker Pimps – Lightning Field
[He'll let her take him down as she sees fit, if it means he'll gain her trust.]

[And as a result, her defenses are being worn down, layer by layer.]

5. Snow Patrol – It's Beginning to Get to Me
[Somewhere between springing her father from jail and helping her hunt her mother's killer,
he realizes this is less about joining the Avatar, now—and much, much more personal.]

But I was screaming under my breath

Just ignore all this present tense

In burning flowers
7. E.S. Posthumus – Cuzco
[The war has ended, their enemies defeated.
And now, amidst a coronation and world reunification,
they find that they must go their separate ways.]
8. Shiny Toy Guns – Frozen Oceans
[But hope springs eternal—that one day their paths might yet cross again.
And when it does, the world as they know it may be very different.]
A frozen ocean joins our hearts
I can't wait to meet you when
The frozen waves meet ocean floors
