Birthday get!!!!
Feb. 19th, 2010 12:31 pmLast night about ten of us (good showing for a Thursday night, actually) met at Intramuros in South SF to celebrate my turning 30!! (Okay, maybe not 30, but I'm in denial.)
We had a blast. Food was great (authentic Filipino cuisine), music was stellar, and I was treated to a birthday shot, which tastes exactly like chocolate cake in a shotglass - 1:1 Frangelico:vodka, sugar and a slice of lemon. OH GOD I could drink that forever. Another favorite drink: the "white tie & tiara", kind of a princessy martini consisting of vodka, white grapefruit juice, lychee and pear. YUMMMMMM.
Alas, I had to work today (and I had a meeting with my boss earlier this morning), and I feel kind of zombie-ish. J and I both passed out in bed last night with all of the lights still on. This morning it was glaringly bright. XD
