Happy New Year, flist!

Kinda late, but J and I have been busy for the past several days. Highlights include:

• the usual fantastic Christmas meal, family gathering, and loot haul


• marathoning the entire season 3 of Dexter with J, and loving every minute of it. Jesus, Jimmy Smits was fucking fantastic.


• Ruby Cuvee champagne that tasted like raspberries, with dark chocolate. And sex.


• Ice skating today at the SF Embarcadero, right on the pier. So fun, and I forgot how easy it was to pick it up again after only ten minutes on the ice. Afterwards we had an excellent dinner here, where I saw this work of art and my Avatar-obsessed brain went "...guh."

This weekend looks like the potential for snowboarding; we shall see how the roads look on Saturday. :D
