This post pisses me off.

Suki was a welcome addition to the Gaang. It's the pastede-on addition of Mai at the end, to the core group, that left the most sour taste in my mouth.

Ugh.

LOLOL I love your icon.

Yeah, I even want to go as far as to say, I could have liked Mai. I could have...if they'd just given her more of a story than "lolol, I had to be quiet" and made her have some kind of epiphany about the Fire Nation's place in the world. I suppose that was too much to ask.

Heheheh thanks ^^ ah your icon is from kawaiinot too XD luvey. Hmmm well, Maiko is forced only to make Kataang happen. I will love Mai if she can move on and have her own conscience to what is right or wrong and realize herself that life is never boring if she know how heheheh but I guess you're right that's too much to ask since Bryke only cared bout that damnable Kataang ( ATLA story will be a real grand epic if they doesn't involve unnecessary romance in it) and for me better if they make it toward friendship with open ending and yeah bryke wasted many good character in ATLA.

Or not even so much an epiphany as an "I'm sick of being everyone else's do-girl, so fuck this noise."

Her turnaround in TBR was admirable, but it still felt cheapened compared to Zuko's in DOBS in that she was still doing it for someone else (Zuko), whereas Zuko told his dad to fuck off for no one but himself.

Had Mai said "I did it because you're a bitch and I'm sick of your bullshit" I might have actually cheered instead of just raising an eyebrow.

I felt the "you're a bitch too, u h0r" was kinda implied in her insurrection, but still I would've liked to hear it spelt out a little more plainly than [monotone bored voice] "I'm saving the guy who dumped me."

Durrrrr.
