OMG.

We are now (for some unfathomable reason) allowed to d/l Google Chrome and install it at work. AND IT IS GLORIOUS. No more stupid IE6. !!!!!!!!!!

So fast. So speedy. So wonderfully amazing not to have to see the stupid "Your outdated browser is no longer accepted at this website" message above most webpages.

I JUST CAN'T...ALGJKSDL;GJA; BELIEVE THAT I HAVE FASTER INTERNETS AT WORK. It is like a dream come true.



Okay, now I have absolutely no reason to not work on those December drabbles that I've been putting off. :p

And yeah, we were using the dinosaur equivalent of a browser. I've been with this company 3 years and they *just* decided to allow us to install a new one. Not sure what finally did it; must've been all the complaints. XD

And I was just re-reading the drabble requests, and I was thinking...as challenging as it might be for a drabble, I might just attempt a Z/K drabble based on Fantomina! :D I'll keep you posted!

The only drawback is that you need to do a sneaky endrun involving other software and a proxy to block ads. But other than that? It. Is. GLORIOUS.

chrome's pretty nice. I tend to run it in porn mode just because of how much random personal information sites like to pick up from you. I'm surprised a company that was working off of IE6 went with Chrome though. Wonder what it took to convince them.

Actually we never made an "official" switch to Chrome, but we're suddenly allowed to d/l and install it now. Wonder what else we can install? hmmm....

It's actually called incognito mode but porn mode is what everyone calls it. You can tweak the settings to open that as a new tab all the time or it's ctrl+shift+n for a new window in incognito more rather than ctrl+ t for a regular tab. You can also get to it via the little wrench thing. There's tons of add ons.

I have Google Chrome, but I've never used it. Firefox has captured my heart. <3
