The first time they had sex, Amon tore the smock of her pilgrim's dress. Not because he was clumsy in his attempt to undress her, but because he was simply too damned impatient after such a long, teasing build-up to unbutton every detail of it. Robin was more amused than incensed, even though the dress had been one of her favorites.

The second time they had sex, she retaliated by deliberately sewing more buttons onto the smock of the next one, and instructing him to patiently undo them, one by one.
