I can't think about this right now without tearing up. Oh damn it, Kubo, damn you, how could you do this to them?

How could you snatch him away from her, just as she's reaching for him????

*cries forever* It's not FAIRRRRR.

.... Well.

Damn.

*sighs* Honestly, that's... That's just bad storytelling right there. But, hey, at least you got something approaching a tender moment first? I know, in a way that makes it more painful... But that whole disintegrates-just-before they touch.... That's quality tragedy shipping gold.

*hugs?*

...I KNOW BUT IT JUST MAKES IT HURT MORE, AND WHY COULDN'T THEY TOUCH ONE ANOTHER BEFORE HE DIES, AND WTF DID HE GET A HEART (LIKE THE TIN MAN) OR NOT, AND OMG OMG OMGGGGGGGG

...sorry...reduced to caps in my grief. D:

I know it's tragic shipping gold, but right now I can't bring myself to care.

Fuck, all I wanted was for him to live, and he could stay with Hime in her apartment and work at Taco Bell or Del Taco or something (like someone at another comm suggested).

*cries inconsolably*

I admit, it's not so much that that bothers me as the total lack of a backstory., the anticlimax of Kurosaki returning to normal and Ulquiorra's death without some kind of final move, at least, despite the fact that Ulquiorra said he could recover from almost any wound... It's just. Ugh. Bad storytelling.

That said, I LIVE for bittersweet moments like that. I just wish the trip getting there had been better.

Also, I'm pretty sure this icon has never been more appropriate.
