I have a love/hate relationship with Orihime's character.

For so long I disliked her, for her inability to defend her friends, and her jealousy over Rukia...but in the Arrancar arc I've learned to let that go. She has a purity of heart -- and an honesty of heart, because let's face it, who hasn't been jealous of someone, even a friend, at one time or another? -- that gives her a power all her own. She's not a fighter, she's a lover. And she loves everyone...and she forgives everyone. And that, to me, is far more powerful than any Getsuga attack Ichigo could dream up.

Back to the topic -- about how Orihime's defense of Ulquiorra might affect her friends? I'd say they wouldn't understand. Particularly Ichigo -- he's so ready to fight, and so easily detects a threat, especially from Ulquiorra, that I think he'd react pretty badly to Orihime healing or helping who he thinks is the enemy. I mean, Ichigo wanted to pulverize Loly and Menoly for hurting her, but Orihime didn't even want Yammy to touch them.

LOL@ preggers. That might happen in the Jerry Springer version of Bleach, maybe? XD
