I wouldn't worry too much about Ishida's foreshadowing. There's been a lot of speculation on why he said he'd regret it, but my main thought is that he simply thinks she can't defend herself if something happens near her. I'm totally convinced we haven't yet REALLY seen Orihime stand up for herself, but that she will, and it will be something big.
