I was just talking to my sister about this the other day. Potentially Orihime is one of the most powerful people in Bleach, with her abilities, so it's good to see her get more proactive. The whole reason why she manifested her powers was to protect her friends, very similar to Ichigo. So her coming to Ichigo's defense should be no surprise. I think she's going to fight the girls and either purify them, or turn them back into whole souls.
