On the new Livejournal Crossposting Crap

I would appreciate it if you do NOT, as a person commenting on my journal, cross-post to Facebook or Twitter. I prefer to keep my separate online communication forums separate.

This goes for both public posts and, obviously, private friends-locked posts.

If I catch anyone doing this in my comments, I may be forced to purge this journal completely. No one wants that.

Yeah, I don't get why they did that, either. I prefer not to have some of my relatives reading my LJ for obvious reasons. (Given the most recent spat I had with my brother...that's one good indication as to why.)

I have no other idea why they did it, other than to be totally "in" with the other social networking sites.

I'm sure my friends on FB don't want to know about some of the stuff I write. Seriously.

Well, I'm not ready for my family to know that I'm gay just yet...so yeah. I do cross-post my story links there, though, so that's not an issue for me.
